"United Ossetia" encourages Tibilov to hold referendum on Ossetia joining Russian Federation

The United Ossetia party has addressed the president of South Ossetia, Leonid Tibilov, with a proposal to hold referendum on South Ossetia joining the Russian Federation and re-uniting with North Ossetia in June,at the same time as the parliamentary elections.In February the party is planning to hold a conference in Tskhinvali on the matter of the referendum.Vladimir Putin has stated that the reunification of Ossetia is the challenge of the Ossetian people only. If South Ossetia votes in favor of the transition, it might take a lot of time for it to happen.
