The Türksat 4A satellite has arrived in Turkey from Japan. Turkish prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz took part in the ceremony of its presentation, Trend reports.
The satellite will be launched on February 15. It was built by Mitsubishi Electric (Japan).
Turkey launched its first satellite in 2011. The second satellite Göktürk-2 was launched at Jiuguan (China) on December 18, 2012.
Turkey plans to launched another satellite Türksat 5A in 2016.
