Demonstrators try to occupy administrative building

Several hundreds of supporters of a candidate to the post of the head of local government education tried to capture a building of the administration in Babayurt, reports Interfax. The attempt took place after the burial of a man killed on Sunday.
It was reported earlier that a fight between the supporters of different candidates took place on Sunday. One man was shot and three were injured. After that, the participants blocked the "Kavkaz" state highway, clearing it only after a talk with the administration.
