Tbilisi ex-Mayor Gigi Ugulava has been released on bail of over $28,600 (50,000 lari), using his mother-in-law’s apartment, Gazeta.ru reports.
The bail sum of 50,000 lari was set by the Tbilisi City Court in December 2013. The ex-mayor is suspected of spending budget funds related to the Tbilisi Development Fund.
