The bill on responsibility of militants’ parents by LDPR member Roman Khudyakov will be considered at the Russian parliament today, ITAR-TASS reports.
According the bill, the Criminal Code will be supplemented with punishments for parents whose son or daughter was involved in terrorism. The list of punishable relatives in this case includes wife/husband, mother, as well as children. Property of terrorists will be seized and sold to get compensations for relatives of militants’ victims.
The document will also strip people of special awards and honours.
