Al Qaeda and Kurdish militants threaten Turkey – foreign minister

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said today that activation of Al Qaeda and militants of the Syrian branch of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party were a threat to Turkey.

He emphasized that terrorist groups in Syria had appeared as soon as opposition had grown stronger in the northern part of the country. The minister added that the Syrian regime and terrorist organizations were interconnected.
