Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed regulations published today, according to which functionaries receiving gifts worth over 3,000 rubles should hand them for evaluation or pay for them.
Flowers, awards and office supplies available at official meetings are not considered gifts. Functionaries need to fill special forms about gifts and file them within three days after reception. They can buy their gifts back within two months after handing them over.
The project of governmental regulations for gifts was discussed in March 2013.
