Pentagon evaluates Snowden’s activities

Edward Snowden has stolen about 1.7 million secret documents about activities of US intelligences, operations of the US Armed Forces, says an expert report of the Pentagon on damage caused to the National Security Agency, ITAR-TASS reports.

Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, noted that enemies of the US had learned about methods used by US intelligence from Snowden’s information.

Michael Birmingham, spokesman of the Director of US National Intelligence, said that the evaluation had not been completed yet but the information leakage caused by Snowden was especially harmful because terrorists learned about the methods US intelligence used to collect information.
