Germany approves Russian agenda at G8

Germany has approved the agenda offered by Russia for the G8 summit. Russia started chairing the G8 on January 1, 2014, ITAR-TASS reports.

The priorities of Russia include terrorism control, healthcare development, global financial recession, stimulation of developing states.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was re-elected for the third time in late 2013. She plans to pay special attention to crisis control to cope with the current situation in the EU and the euro zone. The coalition agreement of Germany will focus on the economic aspects of cooperation within the framework of the G8 and G20 in the next four years.
