Russian Vice PM wants visa regimes with main sources of migration

Russian Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said that a visa regime should be imposed on countries with the highest migration rate, ITAR-TASS reports.

The official noted that the country will not be protected from interethnic conflicts, unless migration is put under control. He added that a visa regime with CIS states would encourage formation of a visa-free regime with the EU.

Kozak explained that the visa regime could then be lifted in the future, but not in the current socio-economic condition.
