Iran will send its military experts to Russia to choose an alternative for the S-300 missile system, said Ismail Qosari, head of the parliamentary committee for defense, ITAR-TASS reports.
Qosari and Alaeddin Borujerli, Head of the parliamentary commission for national security and foreign affairs, met the Iranian ambassador to Russia and discussed the shipment of a different missile system.
Earlier reports said Russia could send the Antey-2500 missile system, but Iran still insists on buying the S-300 complex, as stated in the contract.
