Georgian PM discusses developments in country with PACE co-rapporteurs

Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili told PACE co-rapporteurs Michael Jansen and Boris Silevic that the country was paying special attention to cooperation with the Council of Europe and was planning to continue interaction, Trend reports.

Garibashvili reminded that Georgia had had transparent and fair presidential elections in 2013.

The president discussed the situation in Georgia, constitutional amendments, judicial reforms, report of Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, about protection of human rights. They also touched upon the rights of minorities.
