Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that oil will not be exported to world markets through Syria, Trend reports.
He noted that the situation in Syria was not stable.
Yildiz said in early January that the Iraqi Kurdistan started exports of oil to Turkey and will also export oil to Europe on permission of Baghdad, hoping to receive it in January. Some media sources in Iraq informed that the central government was planning to change the route of oil exports, possibly to Iraq-Syria-Lebanon and Iraq-Jordan-Israel.
