John Kerry and Vatican's Secretary of State discuss Syrian crisis

US Secretary of State John Kerry met today with his counterpart from the Vatican, Cardinal Pietro Parolina. The officials discussed the Syrian crisis and the preparations for the second round of the Geneva conference.

The Vatican's Secretary of State underlined that the Holy See called for peace in Syria and urged international aid for the country's population, Vatican press secretary Father Federico Lambardi says.
