Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif that the Geneva-2 Conference set for January 22 will last several days and rounds, RIA Novosti reports.
Lavrov noted that Russia, Iran and Syria had a joint project to settle the Syrian crisis.
The Russian minister added that he had held bilateral talks with Zarif today and will meet Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem on Friday. He noted that this did not mean the existence of a trilateral project.
