The Georgian Prosecutor General’s Office plans exhumation of ex-Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania, one of the leaders of the Rose Revolution, ITAR-TASS reports.
Swiss experts will study the remains of his body to make a report that could end speculation about his death.
Zhvania and Kvemo-Kartli Vice Governor Raul Yusupov were found dead at the apartment of the latter in February 2005. According to the official version, the two died of gas poisoning. Many have been speculating about the true causes of their death and want a new investigation.
