Patarkatseshvili case is an attack on Mikheil Saakashvili, expert says

The new Georgian leadership is going to use the Patarkatseshvili case against former president Mikheil Saakashvili, political analyst Andrey Petrov told Vestnik Kavkaza.

Late Georgian billionaire Badri Patarkatseshvili is believed to have undergone pressure from President Saakashili in 2008, when the businessman decided to run for president at the early presidential election against the incumbent leader.

According to Andrey Petrov, the present-day authorities are going to use the case to damage Saakashvili's reputation within the country and abroad.
