Ansar al-Sunna has taken the responsibility for the Volgograd blasts of December 29 and 30 in 2013, Trend reports.
A video posted on January 19, 2014, shows two young men named Suleiman and Abdurrahman with submachine guns. They were named the suicide bombers of the blasts.
Ansar al-Sunna was formed in September 2003. It is headquartered in the north and central parts of Iraq. The organization may be lying about its involvement in the Volgograd blasts.
According to mass media the suicide bombers arrived in Volgograd from Dagestan. One of them was Asker Samedov, an active member of the Buynaksk terrorist group responsible for a blast in Volgograd in autumn 2013.
34 people died and 106 were injured in blasts at the central railway station and a trolleybus in December 2013.
