Vladikavkaz Mayor Sergey Dzantiyev ordered the public council to remove all disturbing ads from the city streets, Yuga.ru reports.
He noted that the federal law on advertising had no definition of disturbing ads but that did not mean that there will be no reaction.
Soslan Sozanov, Deputy Chairman of the public council, proposed examination of complaints from users on the city’s website. A special commission will be formed from members of the public council and residents of the city to choose which ads to remove.
