Representatives of the Iranian Foreign Ministry and the organization for protecting the ecology and environment of Iran held a session at the Foreign Ministry to study the issue of fulfillment of the Convention on Ecological Protection of the Caspian Sea, the deputy head of the organization of ecology for marine issues Muhammed Bagir Nabavi said, Trend reports, citing FARS.
Nabavi said that at the session they discussed the issue of fulfiling the convention and additional protocols. The session was participated in by the special representative of the Iranian president for determination of the status of the Caspian Sea, Muhammed Mehdi Akhundzade, the head of organization for ecological protection and environment of Iran, Muhammed Javad Muhammedzade, and heads of other corresponding structures.
