The law on amendments to state purchase laws will come into force on January 29, 2014 in Kazakhstan. Companies of members of the Customs Union will have equal opportunities for tenders in Kazakhstan, according to the law, ITAR-TASS reports.
The document has stricter demands for quality of goods and services purchased by state structures.
Moreover, a unified organizer of state purchases will be launched in Kazakhstan in January 2014. The organizer used to make local-level state purchases. It will now operate at the country-wide level.
