Sergey Lebedev, Executive Secretary of the CIS, has attended the first session of representatives of Commonwealth states in 2014 in Minsk, AzerTAG reports.
It was decided in October 2013 that Ukraine will take over chairmanship of the organization in 2014. Ukrainian Representative in the CIS Ivan Bunechko will be the Chairman-in-Office.
Bunechko presented the Ukrainian plan for its chairmanship and an action plan for its realization. The Executive Committee will prepare a working plan to assist Ukraine.
Attendants of the talks discussed the agenda of the upcoming session of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers Moscow will host on April 4. The final agenda project will be presented on February 4.
