The United States is ready to provide Russia with technology necessary to improve the safety of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, which are going to be held in the southern Russian city of Sochi, RBC cites the Pentagon's press service as saying.
The issue has recently been discussed by the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, and his Russian counterpart, General Valery Gerasimov.
