Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at the Turkmen-Iranian committee for economic cooperation that the Islamic Republic will simplify the visa regime with its neighbours (Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Armenia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Pakistan), Trend reports.
Concerning cooperation with Turkmenistan, the minister pointed out the work of checkpoints in Saraghs, Luftabad, Bajihiran, Incheburun and construction of the Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan Railway.
Zarif emphasized the importance of the Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman transportation corridor for Central Asian exports.
