The investigation committee of the prosecution service of Russia has proposed establishing a National Compensation Fund for victims of crimes, which will be financed from confiscated assets of convicts, the head of the committee Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview to ‘Rossiskaya Gazeta', which will be published on Thursday.
According to Bastrykin, the committee developed a new bill on protection of victims of crime, with the government providing justice and compensation, RIA Novosti reports.
