Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the Islamic Republic's nuclear developments were peaceful and urged the world to fight terrorism for the sake of stability. He invited the attendants of the Forum to visit Iran and see its life under economic sanctions.
Rouhani reminded that Iran had not waged any offensive wars for centuries and had only used force to defend itself from foreign aggression. After 10 years of hard work, Iran will not quit the peaceful nuclear program, he said.
The Iranian president urged all countries to cooperate, for example in fighting violence. He expressed confidence that Iran will take part in global economic processes, mainly in energy, more actively.
