Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces attending the NATO session, said that the Russian Army had become more open for the European and American in 2013, Vesti 24 reports.
He reminded that the same had been announced at a Russian-NATO session during a briefing conference on Zapad-2013 joint Russian-Belarusian drills. Gerasimov added that the openness will stay in the future.
The official gave a positive rating to cooperation with the NATO in 2013. However, he reminded that the deployment of the European missile shield was still an unresolved problem.
