BRICS dozing, not dead – Russian Vice PM

Russian Vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said at the World Economic Forum in Davos today that problems of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) in 2013 had nothing to do with their economy and were a matter of changes in developing markets, Vesti 24 reports.He noted at the Davos session that “BRICS is not dead, but dozing.” Economic problems in Europe, the main market of BRICS, and structural transformations in the countries slowed the economic growth and will be followed by a boost in the future, the Russian vice PM believes.Dvorkovich said that the value of money and prices for energy dropped in the US in 2013 and the investment flow to the United States increased. The situation should stay the same for 2-3 years at best.
