The Crisis Center of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in Chechnya has been named the best of its kind in the North Caucasus Federal District in 2013, the Chechen government reports.
Nikolai Lityuk, Head of the North Caucasus Regional Center of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, handed the cup to Ruslan Yakhyev, Head of the Chechen Center.
Crisis centers in the North Caucasus were rated according to 10 criteria, including organization of monitoring, readiness of systems, practical work and reaction to emergency situation, information systems.
