Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem is having a meeting with Lakhdar Brahimi, Special Envoy of the UN and Arab League, Interfax reports.
Syrian Information Minister Amran Az-Zoubi noted that Brahimi will meet the opposition in Geneva at 4.00 pm. He added that opposition leader Ahmed Jarba had left the talks. Brahimi will decide whether to bring the sides of conflict together for the talks. At the moment, delegations of the Syrian government and opposition refuse to talk in the same room.
