Syrian authorities and opposition start morning talks

The Syrian government and opposition started talks in Geneva at 11:30 am. They are having negotiations at the same table, RIA Novosti reports.They will hold other talks separately in the evening with Lakhdar Brahimi, Special Envoy of the UN and the LAS. A similar format of talks in Geneva took place on January 26.The Syrian National Coalition is focusing on the formation of a transitional government today.Syrian Deputy Foreign Ministaer Faisal Miqdad noted yesterday that the government delegation was ready to discuss any topic, but the formation of a new government was a matter of elections.
