Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that heads of regions who cannot prevent ethnic conflicts should undergo harsh punishments and be dismissed, Izvestia reports.
Kadyrov noted that all nationalities should be treated equally. He called ethnic problems more dangerous for Russia than terrorism.
Commenting on terrorism control, Kadyrov praised efforts to pass harsher laws against it. A supporter and an ideologist are more dangerous than terrorists themselves, according to Kadyrov.
