January 16 laws to be cancelled in Ukraine, protesters released

Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Andrey Portnov, Justice Minister Yelena Lukash, leader of the UDAR Party Vitaly Klitschko, leader of the Fatherland Party Arseny Yatsenyuk, leader of the Freedom Party Oleg Tyagnibok met in Kiev yesterday and made agreements, RIA Novosti reports.

The government agreed to overturn laws adopted on January 16. Laws that opposition has no objections to will be passed again.

Moreover, the Ukrainian authorities will release all detained protesters as soon as the demonstrators leave occupied buildings and roads.
