Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov has resigned. He said that he decided to resign for the sake of socio-political compromise, peaceful settlement of conflict.
He thanked he president of Ukraine for trust and thanked everyone for support in modernizing and reforming the country. Azarov emphasized that maintaining unity and integrity of Ukraine was the most important task, more important than personal plans and ambitions.
Thus, the prime minister fulfilled one of the key demands of Euromaidan himself because his resignation means dissolution of the government.
