An international film festival is to take place next year in Grozny, the head of the Chechen film studios, Inal Sheripov, told Ria Novosti. The festival's motto is “War is over – arthouse forever!”. There is an interest in our festival, Sheripov says. The festival is scheduled for the 1st-11th of April, but its French partners want to schedule it for the 1st-9th of June. There are multiplexes and cinema theatres in Grozny, but the organizers want to find an appropriate location.
