Russia does not need NATO's assistance to secure Olympic Games

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the country did not need the assistance of NATO to make the Sochi Olympic Games safe, RIA Novosti reports.

He noted that most countries had their own officials responsible for security. Lavrov noted that they had been working under the auspices of the Federal Security Service for weeks. Most NATO members operate the same way.
