US President Barack Obama said in his State of the Union address at the Congress that US athletes must demonstrate respect of equality at the Sochi Olympic Games, ITAR-TASS reports.
Obama confirmed readiness of the US to develop relations with other states and help them strengthen freedom and democracy. The US president emphasized the equality of people, regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation.
