Weapon shipments to Syria may fall into militant hands – Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that renewal of weapon shipments to Syria creates a risk that the said shipments could fall in the hands of terrorists, RIA Novosti reports.Lavrov noted that Russia was discussing terrorism in Syria with the US. He reminded that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant was trying to form a caliphate in the region.
