Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has proposed the foundation of a North Caucasus Academy of Sciences, SKFO.ru reports.
The science center will work on fundamental and applied research in natural, technical and socio-humanitarian sciences.
Professor Ismail Tankiyev proposed the formation of the Academy as a sciences center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is planned to become a state center. The Academy will have tax relief and other benefits.
