Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained members of an organized crime group in North Ossetia on charges of trafficking arms from South Ossetia, RIA Novosti reports, citing the FSB in North Ossetia.
A spokesperson said that during a special operation automatic weapons, explosives and ammunition were seized
The FSB said that the weapons were stolen from the warehouses of the Defense Ministry and the Emergency Ministry of South Ossetia during the war with Georgia in 2008.
