Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran and said that the two republics will fight terrorism together, Trend reports.
Both countries are equally concerned about the problem in the region.
Erdogan emphasized the importance of economic ties. He clarified that Turkey wanted to increase trade turnover with Iran to $30 billion by 2015. The Turkish PM expressed hope for expansion of economic ties to form a free trade zone.Erdogan had met Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
