Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu and US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel discussed security of the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in a recent telephone conversation, ITAR-TASS reports.
US Rear Admiral John Kirby said that the US was ready to offer any support to secure the Games. He denied media reports about possible plans to evacuate US citizens on the two ships Washington will send to the Black Sea.
The FBI plans to sent dozens of agents to Russia. About 20 agents will be sent to Moscow and over 10 to Sochi.
