Editors of CIS countries to meet Israeli president The Club of CIS, Baltic and Georgian Editors formed with the assistance of the RIA Novosti Group will meet Israeli President Shimon Peres, Tourism Minister Uzi Landau, Deputy Foreign Minister Ze’ev Elkin, Head of the Sochnut Jewish Agency Natan Sharansky, News Armenia reports.
The visit to Israel will take place on February 3-6 within the framework of the Club’s 7th session.
Zakhar Vinogradov, a coordinator of the Club, Deputy Chief of the Editorial Office of the CIS, Baltic and Georgia, said that the visit was organized to learn about cooperation of Israel and the CIS, economic cooperation, political system of Israel and political realities. According to Vinogradov, the visit will strengthen ties of Israeli, Georgian, CIS and Baltic mass media.
A meeting will be organized with the Association of Russian-Language Press of Israel.
