Over 800 police officers lost jobs in Turkey yesterday, ITAR-TASS reports.
500 of them served at the Security Department of Ankara, 274 in Izmir, 55 in Gaziantep and Istanbul. This makes a total of about 6,000 police officers dismissed since the start of the corruption scandal in late 2013.
