Chechnya adopts environment protection programme

Russia's North Caucasian republic of Chechnya has adopted a special programme for protecting the environment, the republic's Natural Resources Department's chief Ruslan Musikhanov says.

According to the official, the Chechen authorities are going to spend some 406 million roubles on the implementation of the programme.
