Official says tourism can improve North Caucasus' image

Development of tourism is one of the ways to improve the image of the North Caucasus, the head of Russia's Federal Agency for Tourism, Alexander Radkov, told Vestnik Kavkaza.

The official also says the republics of the North Caucasus should develop the coast of the Caspian Sea in order to establish new resorts there.

However security remains the top problem, the official admits.
