Syrian FM says demands that Assad should resign are unjust

Syrian Foreign Minister Valid Mualem says demands voiced by the opposition and Western powers that the country's President Bashar al-Assad should resign are not justified.

According to the minister, the president's power is based on a constitution approved by the Syrian people.
