Iranian president says universities should be free from politics

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said universities should be free from politics. The remarks were made during the president's meeting with university rectors, Azerbaijani news agency Trend reports.

"A university should not be a centre of political activity. Tolerance should dominate in educational institutions," President Rouhani is quoted as saying by Trend.
