Turkey complains about overuse of veto at UNSC

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed disappointment with the inability of the UNSC to make decisions due to constant vetoing by one or other of its permanent members.

Erdogan noted that the UNSC has been inefficient in organizing a humanitarian mission in Syria because of the vetoing. He reminded that about 700,000 Syrian refugees have settled in Turkey and about $2.5 billion had been spent on their upkeep.
