US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said that Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama may meet at the nuclear security summit in The Hague in March, Interfax reports.
In his words, Washington is also preparing for the Russia-US summit in Sochi this summer, during the G8 meeting.
Having abstained from holding the summit in September 2013, the US says that the agenda will be replete for top-level meetings. McFaul noted new fields of cooperation, such as Iran and Syria, which were undeveloped, in terms of collaboration, the previous year.
